Abby LOVES Hunter. She asks about him all the time and I love it. She is so sweet with him and has been a huge help! She entertains him when I need a minute to fix a bottle or run to get something. She helps me with his stroller and just really has been precious with him.

No. Things are not perfect. In fact, she told me the other night that she doesn't like me anymore, but I would rather her take this out on me than on Hunter.

Thank you, Lord, for this new addition to the family. I had LOW expectations for Abby (no offense but I have learned to set the bar low and then appreciate when they are great!) and she has just risen above and done outstanding! I can't wait to watch them grow up together and love each other even more!

Yep. It's the same dress. Abby insisted.

Before Hunter was born I had planned ahead, looked around and found Abby an adorable dress for Western Day at school. This morning I brought down the dress for Abby to wear. Well, Abby had another idea. I knew the day would come and I have seen little signs, but my 3 (and almost 1/2) year old has a opinion about clothes now. Ugh! The only other half-way looking western dress we have is the very one she wore last year. Good thing she likes it and it fit.

It is fun to see the changes in just one year. Happy Western Day!

time for a slumber party

Abby got her puppy dog sleeping bag a while ago and for Christmas she got the baby doll sleeping bag that matches. Well, she thought it would be fun for Hunter to "sleep" in her baby doll's sleeping bag while she "slept" in hers. Hunter went along with it for a while. Bless him! This is the first of many good times, son! : ) Happy Saturday!

Bo's birthday was yesterday. Abby and Mimi made him a golf club birthday cake and Bo and I went out to dinner alone. It was such a fun treat to get out and enjoy a nice dinner. Might be the last one for a while! : ) Thanks, Mimi! Happy 33rd birthday, Bo. I can't imagine this journey without you right next to me. Love you!

Guess who dressed herself?

Well, Abby is HOME! It is so nice to have her here as we try and get adjusted to this family of four thing. Mimi flew in last night with Abby and she looked SO BIG as she got off that plane and we brought her in to see her brother at her house. Thank you, Mimi, for taking Abby to Houston for the week. It was so nice to get Hunter home and not have to entertain Abby. Since we were iced in all week, it would have been a challenge to keep her busy. Thank you!

Thank you SO MUCH, Bunny for everything the last week! The food, company and help with Hunter was all so appreciated! Love you so. Come back soon!!!

Abby has been playing with her toys all day and "helping" me feed, burp and change Hunter. I think she is going to be a GREAT big sis! Excited to see what this week holds. Thank you, Lord, for TWO precious gifts.
