hanging with friends

Hanging out with Molly and Abby

Chloe and Ally trying to eat.  Matthew is too
busy playing to eat!

My sweet girl

Abby and Molly watching the big
  kids play!

Today Abby and I had a great time eating lunch and playing with some friends.  It was a beautiful day and so fun to be outside!  Molly and Abby were the only two not moving too much, so it was easy to take pictures of the two of them!   Thanks Kristen for a great lunch and fun time.

today at the arboretum

Today we went to the arboretum with Mimi and Papa.  Only you don't know they were there because Abby would NOT go to them at all all day long!  She is being extra clingy these days for some reason.  We had a great time and enjoyed God's beautiful creation!  Abby tried a dill pickle at lunch time. It was quite funny to watch her try to eat it.

love thy neighbor

Today we went to the park with our amazing neighbors!  Eddie LOVES to make Abby laugh.  Abby loves to watch Sophia walking and running all over the place!  It is always fun to hang out together.

i love veggies!

Abby LOVES vegetables!  She does NOT, however, like fruit....at all!  She is nothing like her momma.   Bo decided to feed her some sweet potatoes on Sunday.   She had them everywhere....arm, legs, nose....everywhere!  She was loving it.

not much going on!

Now that I have started this blog, I feel like I need to report on our daily activities.  Well, today we didn't do too much!  Ran a few errands, but nothing too exciting.  Abby got a new toy to celebrate her 7 month birthday tomorrow.  That's about as exciting as it got around here today!

watching the masters with daddy!

Bo and Abby watched the Masters all weekend long.  He wanted her to sit there and enjoy it like he did.  However, she lasted about 10 minutes and then she wanted to play.  I think she was sad Tiger was losing so bad!

welcome to the blogging world!

Why I started this blog - I guess I have stalked blogs long enough.  I love to read my friend's blogs. I also read my friend's friend's blogs.  When you are a stay at home mom, it's like getting the mail every day...so exciting and sometimes the highlight.  I had started this a while ago, but never did anything with it.  A friend of mine was over here today and helped me put this one together.  We will see how it all goes!

Back to the beginningSo...those of you who know me know that I have a 7 month old daughter named Abigail.  She is precious to me, but I can't say that I enjoyed her first 4 months on this earth.  They say if it won't kill you it will only make you stronger.  They also say you will forget all of this.  People who say that never had a child with colic.  Abby had a horrible time with colic and reflux. HORRIBLE.  Many nights I looked at my husband as we were both walking around the house with a screaming baby wondering what the heck we had done!  It was terrible.  Praise God for precious family members who dropped everything and came to help us.  Praise God for precious friends who supported us and loved us through it all.  And, praise God that those 4 months are over and we have a much happier, sweet, healthy baby girl!
So here goes - This blog is really more for special memories and for Abby.  I hope that one day she will read this and smile knowing how much she is loved and adored!  Your mom and dad love you Cheeks!!!
