We had a blast this Halloween! Abby was the cutest pig and actually loved wearing her costume. We started off the day by going to Madeline's birthday party. All the kids wore their costumes and it was a perfect day for a party! When we got home from the party, Abby took a nap and after she ate some supper was ready to go trick or treating. Bo and I did not think she would really like it or get into it, but we were totally wrong. She LOVED it! She would say "trick or treat" and then she would look up at me and say "who these people?" as they put candy in her bucket. It was funny. We got back home in time to see lots of other kids come to our house. Abby loved this part just as much as walking around the neighborhood. What a fun day!!

Today was supposed to be a beautiful, sunny day, but it did not turn out that way. However, despite the cooler weather the arboretum was still gorgeous. We had a great time with friends and loved seeing all of the pumpkins and gorgeous fall flowers! I love this time of the year!!!

For my blog friends not on facebook....Abby learned the pledge at school. She loves to say it and honestly it make me laugh each and every time! Love this precious girl of mine!!

The fall is not complete without a trip to the pumpkin patch! We went this morning with our neighborhood playgroup and had a good time despite the mud and wind! What a beautiful time of year. Thank you Lord for this nice weather...finally!!

These are just a few of my favorite pictures of Abby from her 2 year photo session! My friend Courtney (anthologieimages.com) does an amazing job and did great with Abby the day of the shoot. Abby was in rare form that day. Picture day always brings out the best in us, right? She wasn't really doing much of anything. She didn't want to look at the camera, she just kept saying "cow" for some reason and pointing at some house. Anyway, so happy that Courtney was able to get some GREAT pictures! I love them and my honorary 2 year old!

This past weekend, we took a trip to Houston! There were a couple of different reasons for this trip so close to our trip last weekend to Arkansas. My friend Kimberly and her daughter Chloe were visiting Houston after living in Perth, Australia for the last 8 months. They will be living in Australia for 4 years and I promised Kim that I would come to Houston to see her any time she came home. We had a good time catching up and letting the girls play together at Chuck E Cheese.

Friday night, we went to a 60s party at the Bain's church. It was a hoot! I wish I had better pictures of us all dressed up. We turned lots of heads at dinner before the party. Abby danced her heart out that night and stayed up until 9:15!

Saturday was Charlie's 3rd birthday party. He had a Superman party and it was a blast. The weather was perfect for the outside party!

Another great weekend of fun. Abby is a total ROCK STAR traveler! I love taking her places!! I hope this lasts a long time.
