day 75 of my 365 project

Yes.  I am still taking at least one picture per day.  A friend is also doing the 365 project and has pushed me asked me to post a picture each day so we stay accountable to each other.  So...here is today's pic.

Well, round TWO of "Cousin Spring Break 2012" has come and gone.  It was a BLAST.  This is just so much fun.  I am LOVING daylight savings time as well. The kids are sleeping great...including Hunter.  Such a happy mom!  Not sure if it's the dst or the walking, but I will TAKE IT!

Meredith (my brother's wife) and her three kids came in town Tuesday morning.  The kids were so excited to see each other.  We ate lunch and went straight to the park.  After playing a while we headed back home and then played in the back yard all afternoon.  

Meredith is WAY talented in photography and has been teaching me a few things.  I am so excited to learn all of this.  I am hoping to get better and better.  We were up late playing around on the computer and it was so much fun.  Thank you, Meredith!

Abby was SO sad to see the cousins leave today.  I was putting Hunter down for his afternoon nap and when I came out of his room I couldn't find Abby.  I opened her door and she was about asleep in the bed.  I went over to kiss her head and she said, "I about fell asleep sitting up"!    Thanks for coming, Mer.  We loved every minute!!!   Love you guys so much.

Spring break is HERE and we are loving some cousin time.  Liz and her crew came in town this past weekend and left today.   We loved having them here despite the gross weather most of the weekend.  The sun broke out on Sunday afternoon and we all ran out back to enjoy it and do some grilling.  The kids played great together and got along so well.  We didn't do much other than just hang out at the house and let the kids play.  Hunter was loving trying to chase the big kids around the house.  He will be catching them soon.   Thanks for coming up to D, Liz.  We loved having you!

Well, it was a big weekend here at the Bain house.  Spring break began and we have our first round of visitors here now.  Liz (Bo's sister and my former college roommate) and her 2 kids are here now from Houston.  We are all having so much fun!!!  More pictures and stories about that later.  We have BIG news....

Hunter started walking this weekend!

He is so proud of himself and just so dang cute walking around with his hands up in the air.  Funny.  Also today, Aunt Lizzie gave H his first haircut.  Bo has been bugging me to trim the back and after TWO people called him a GIRL this week I figured it was time for a trim.  He doesn't have much on top yet.  He did great, Liz did great and he looks a lot better!  Still has some curls, but not the mullet he was getting!  

Fun weekend and MUCH more to come this week.  LOVE spring break and LOVE visitors!

I have been thinking about taking Abby out of school one day for just an Abby and me day.  I asked Abs if she thought it would be fun and of course, she said yes.  So...today we dropped Hunter off at school and off we went!  I told her we could do anything and everything she wanted to do in five hours.

We left the parking lot after dropping off Hunter and went to CFA for hash browns per her request. This was fine by me because I needed my morning Diet Coke.  We then headed to Frisco to do some shopping.  I have to have Abby with me these days so it was a perfect thing to do before our movie started.  We found a few things and as we were driving, Abby spotted these bull statues.  She laughed and asked if we could ride them.  I am sure she wasn't thinking I would suddenly pull the car over, park and get her out and place her on top!  She laughed and laughed.  It was GREAT.  We then headed to our movie after getting popcorn and sour patch kids!  The movie was really cute and had a great message.  Next up was nail time!  This was the main thing she wanted to do.  She picked out her color and beamed the whole time.

Abby and I had a great time together today laughing and talking.  I thought that she was the one that needed some mommy time, but really I think I was the one that wanted some Abby time!  It was a precious day and one that I won't ever forget.  She just smiled and laughed all day.  She got all my attention and loved it.  I loved it too!
