I truly can't believe that it's the middle of July already. After 2 trips to Little Rock, then Colorado and Houston, we loaded up one more time for a quick trip to east Texas to see my brother and his fam while Bo and his dad went to Pebble Beach to play some golf.
We did lots of swimming and playing.
Sweet H jumped in too close to the side of the pool
and bit thru his lip. First summer injury.
This week, Abby is doing a sports camp and loving it.
She likes golf the best so far. Her dad is pretty happy about that.
We are HOME for what's left of summer! It's going by way too fast
for me and I have never said that about summer. Loving it!

We got home from Colorado, unpacked and repacked for our
6th annual Cousin Camp in Houston!
This year it was over the 4th of July weekend so, of course, the theme was red, white and blue.
Mimi did not disappoint!! We arrived on Thursday and started decorating our bikes for
the neighborhood parade!
We won many awards for costume and decorations.
It was steamy in Houston so we spent lots of time swimming!
We had sparklers and watched the fireworks that Friday night.
Saturday we spent most of the day doing an Amazing Race around Houston. It was so much fun.
I didn't have time to stop and take pictures...too busy racing! : )
Sunday we headed to Dave and Busters for the kid's half-birthday parties.
Each child gets to celebrate and it is always a fun party.
Another successful Cousin Camp is in the books!! Thanks to Mimi and Papa for all that

Tuesday we went sledding on Cottonwood Pass. It was freezing up there and we didn't
really have the right clothes, but we still had a good time with what snow was left.
You can see deer all around the ranch.
Wednesday for lunch we always go to the family cook-out and softball game.

We just returned from a trip to Colorado. Every other year my whole family goes to Deer Valley Ranch. I grew up going there and nothing has changed. It's still owned by the same sweet family and the schedule is still the same every day. The views aren't too bad either!
My boys before church on Sunday morning.
Waiting for the Sunday fried chicken lunch!
After lunch on Sunday, we headed to St. Elmo to feed the chipmunks.
Hunter was all over it! Abby was trying as hard as she could to crawl up
Bo's back to escape the critters. I didn't blame her.
Bo and my mom held Abby's hand down and she finally fed the chipmunks.
She was so proud of herself!
A little exploring and throwing rocks in the creek.
Never gets old.
Every Monday morning it's the Wrangler's Breakfast.
You get to enjoy breakfast outside and a short devotional and songs.
This is the only pic I got of all the cousins.
They were too busy running around in different directions!
Monday afternoon was time for some fishing!
Bo loves to fish and so did both kids. I loved to sit and watch.
This was the best view at the ranch!
Our days were packed and I have way too many favorite pics for one post.
To be continued...

Summer is finally here!! We are in the second week and loving it so far. We have been busy enough but had enough quiet/down time as well. Lots of swimming and playing with friends.
Abby brought a ton of things home the last week of school.
I found this in her folder. Ha!
Dance recital was awesome. It was Abby's 4th year to dance
and she loves recital time!
We took Sprinkles cupcakes to Bo's office one
afternoon last week. The kids LOVE doing that!
Ice cream before bed.
Hunter loves to play golf with Bo. He would spend all day
out there if he could. I love that they do this together.
H finished up swim lessons and we have loved spending
plenty of time at the pool.
This week Abby is loving a dance/cheerleading camp every afternoon!
Our summer is off to a great start and we are loving every minute!
