preschool 2014

This little man started preschool today and was so excited!  He walked right in and started putting his backpack and lunch away like he knew what he was doing.  He only said goodbye to me because I made him.  He loved his day and is ready for another day tomorrow!

first day of FIRST GRADE

Today is the DAY!!  Abby started first grade and there were no tears.  She came down extra early and told me she was nervous.  We talked about that it's ok to be nervous and that I was too.
We took a few pics and loaded up the car.  On the way there she said, "Mom,
my eyes are watering...I am not crying."

She was all smiles this morning. No tears at all!

Abby and this sweet friend have been in the same class for the last two years.
So happy that they are together again.

Looking forward to a great first grade year!!

summer 2014 highlights

This is the last week of summer!  It was the best summer we have had as a family so far
and I am sad to see it end.  Well, sort of.  The kids are beginning to get bored and argue
a bit more so this mom is ready for a little break.  Here's to a great start to the
school year and let the schedules resume!  : )

5 years

Hunter and I went to the store to get balloons to release for Reese's birthday.  When the lady blowing up all the balloons asked who they were for Hunter said without hesitation, "they are for my cousin Reese. She lives with Jesus"!   Each year we celebrate her life by releasing balloons as a family.  My kids know they have a cousin who is in heaven and it is important to us that we celebrate her life each year on her birthday.  After all, she touched more lives in her two days on this earth than many do in a lifetime.  Happy 5th Birthday Reese Catherine Rowe!!!   We love you and can't wait to see you one day.

pine cove camp 2014

I can not begin to explain to you the crazy, fun, busy, insane time that we had at my house last week.    It started back in April when I called my sis and invited her down for a week so the big kids could do a Pine Cove camp together.  Then I asked my sil if her son wanted to join in and there you have it.
FOUR boys in my house all week long.....and Abs = craziness

First day of camp

Ride to the park
