San Francisco

We just returned from my favorite city.  I LOVE San Francisco and everything the city has to offer.  

We went with our Baylor friends (5 couples) and had a blast!  We made the most of every day.

We walked and we walked.....yes, these hills!

We rode the ferry to Sausalito.

We walked around Fisherman's Warf and saw the SAME bush man

that scared the CRUD out of me almost 10 years ago.

We went to my FAVORITE place on earth to eat.

This place is just so worth the trip.

On Sunday we went to Napa and toured some wineries.

For dinner the last night we ate in the kitchen at the chef's table at One Market.

The food was amazing, but the scenery made it so much fun.

We toured the wine room, restaurant and Hollie and I made

dessert for our table.  Fun night.

Such an amazing trip with an amazing group of friends. 

Time to start planning for 2015!  : )

San Diego

For the third year in a row, Bo won a reward work trip!  I can't tell you how proud I am of Bo and how neat it is to hear all the "big wigs" bragging about him and all of the other award winners.  The trips are always top notch!  You do not lift a finger.  It's pretty amazing.

This year we went to Torrey Pines right outside of San Diego.  Bo loved the golf there and said the course was beautiful.  I can tell ya the spa was fabulous. 

We went in to La Jolla a couple times and it was neat as well.  

What's not to love about California??

kindergarten already?

Abs is all registered for kindergarten. 

August 26, 2013 will be here before we all know it.

Happy Easter!  He is Risen!!

We woke up and got moving early this morning.  

We left the house at 7:31 for the early church service.

BUT before that we ran outside to grab the eggs the easter bunny

had left because a big storm was rolling in!

first lost tooth

Abs lost her first tooth today.  It's been hanging there for a few days

and while she was eating dinner tonight she pushed it out with her tongue.

I was glad she did it because I wasn't about to and Bo wasn't home yet.

She handled it like a champ.  

My baby isn't such a baby anymore and while I am happy about 

that for many reasons it makes me sad for a few as well.

Today was a perfect day to dye our eggs for Easter.  The weather was chilly this morning but warmed up this afternoon so we had a little egg hunt in the back yard after naps.

We had a great weekend.  It was quiet enough but busy enough too.  

In other news....

Abby is about to lose her tooth. It is just hanging there.  Her Sunday school teacher told her he would put a string around it and tie the other end to the door knob and slam the door. That didn't go over well.

Hunter is getting 3 of his 4 two year molars.  That is fun.  Just hoping they come in soon.

I love Motrin.

field trip

How is my baby old enough to go on a field trip with her class?

On a big, yellow bus,  pack your own brown bag lunch,  and have a chaperone field trip??

Can't be possible.  A sweet mom that Abby was assigned to sent me tons of pictures during the field trip to the Sea Life Aquarium in Grapevine.  The kids had a great time!

spring break 2013

We just returned from a quick trip to see my brother, sis in law and their sweet kiddos. 

It was a BLAST!!  Their house is amazing and like a little "resort" all to itself.

Hunter spent most of the time on the tennis/basketball court playing. 

Abby spent most of her afternoons in the pool.

Sweet David.  So happy he is in our family.  Wasn't the same until he completed us!

After two solid days of basketball, riding on bikes, swimming, eating, running around, movie watching, Wii playing, jumping on the trampoline and more running around....

Hunter was POOPED!  

And, yes, the pool is in the shape of a RAZORBACK.

Great spring break!  Thanks to the family for having us and letting us invade.

3rd annual crawfish boil

Yesterday was our 3rd annual crawfish boil.  I was worried about the weather, but 

the rain held off and everything was perfect.  

Abby actually held the live crawfish.

Hunter wasn't too sure what to think...

30 lbs of crawfish, 6 lbs of sausage, 6 lbs of shrimp, corn, potatoes, mushrooms, 

brussel sprouts, onions and garlic.   Dinner is served!

Great afternoon with the best of friends.  Can't ask for much more than that.

lazy

I have been really lazy about taking pictures lately.  We have been really busy and have had a lot of fun the last few weeks but I just haven't been good about documenting it.  

Hunter is OBSESSED with Chuck E Cheese right now.  He talks about him every day.

I took the kids one day this week and we had the whole place to ourselves.

CEC came out TWICE while we were there and the kids

were in heaven....especially Hunter.

I adore this boy...and those cheeks.

Abby had a book parade at her school.  She was McKenna, an American Girl who

is a gymnast.  She did great and had a good time wearing a leotard to school.

She also has a really lose tooth.  THAT to me is crazy. She isn't old

enough for that, right?
