As a mother, I choose to pick my battles. Every day, all day I choose what battles are worth the fight and what battles really aren't worth the fight at all. This morning as we were getting ready to walk out the door, Hunter decided he wanted to wear one of his crocs and one of his new house shoes. He was very particular about this and so I went with it. I put his other croc in my bag in case he changed his mind.
Well, he didn't change his mind and he was the talk of Bible study this morning.
Everyone thought it was hilarious and Hunter had a big grin as the women oohed and aahed. I just smiled to myself because I didn't waste the energy on something that really didn't matter one bit. I need to do this more often. Life sure would be easier!
Bo and I met at Baylor and were married on August 5, 2000. We had a baby girl on September 18, 2007. Three years later, the Lord blessed our family with a son. He was born on January 28, 2011. I feel so blessed and honored to be the mom of two beautiful children! I love my life!!
