While in Houston a couple of weeks ago, we thought it would be fun to take the cousins to get their picture made together.  Well, let's just say it was quite an experience!  This one is the best.  I laugh because Ally (on the left) would not let us comb her hair, Abby wasn't thrilled with any of it, Anna Jane (oldest) was loving every minute of posing for the camera, and Charlie wasn't too sure what to think with all these emotional women!    When things got really bad, we were asked to get in the picture with the kids.  HA!   None of us were ready for our picture to be taken.  It all just makes me laugh.  Fun memories!

I bought Abby a swimming pool yesterday at Babies R Us.  It has been the best $15 I have spent on her so far!  She LOVES the water and LOVED being outside in the pool!  She would not let me bring her inside.  We will be spending lots of time at the pool this summer I can tell.

8 months old

Abigail is 8 months old!  I honestly never thought the day would come and I really didn't think that I would ever sleep again.  She loves to eat veggies and she loves dill pickles!  Go figure.   I still can't get her to eat much fruit and she hates rice cereal.  I honestly don't blame her on that one.  She throws up any time I give her table food, so we are staying away from that for now.  I am not sure of her weight, but I do know that 25% of it has to be in her cheeks!!  She is precious and more fun every day.....well, when she isn't teething!

Bo, Abby and I went down to Houston last weekend.   Bo had to work out of Houston, so Abby and I spent a few days there playing with cousins, aunts, uncles, Mimi and Papa.  We had a great time!  

busy week, no pics

It's been a pretty busy week around here.  Monday was my birthday.  Poor Bo - had my first Mother's Day and my birthday back to back.  However, he did not disappoint!  We had a play group on Monday at Chloe's house, some friends over for lunch on Tuesday, Rosey came over for dinner, and we met friends at the mall and the park on Wednesday!  However, I was a slacker and didn't take any pictures of these fun events.  BUT Abigail has discovered her hands this week and loves to clap! That's been the fun new trick of the week.  She still loves to be outside so we go out as often as we can. Today we weren't as social and just hung out together!  I love my sweet girl!!

Ever since Abigail was 2 days old, she has had her eyes on a Lohrding boy.  Last night, it was Samuel that made her smile.   Some days, it is Luke.  We had a great time hanging out with friends last night.   Abby loved seeing her big brother too!  We don't get to see Rosey often enough.  Thanks, Lohrdings, for having the Baylor gang over.

Abigail and I had a great week in Arkansas.  My sister and her son, Zach, stayed and played with us.  Zach is only 9 weeks younger than Abby.  Too bad we don't live any closer!  They are so fun together.

We went to Arkansas this past weekend to celebrate my dad's 60th bday.   We had a surprise dinner for him and it was so much fun!  Any time my family gets together, we have a blast.  The cousins love each other and the crazy dog adds to the excitement!  Abby loved every minute of the craziness!!

Bo had a work function tonight that required him to wear a tux.  After he got dressed, he looked so handsome that  I had to put a dress on Abby to get her picture with him!   She loved that - especially since she is SO fun at 5:30 in the evening!  I am sure she was wondering why I wasn't putting on her pjs instead, but who knows, the next time he wears a tux could just be her wedding!
