Time for tea!

This past weekend was the first weekend in a long time that we weren't just slammed with things to do.  We had enough to keep us entertained, but we also had some down time and that was nice.  

Saturday we went to the park and played in the backyard most of the day.  Bo hadn't used the BGE in a few weeks so he was ready to smoke some meat.  We always have friends willing to come over and join us, so that is what we did!  

Sunday Abby and I went to a mother-daughter tea party.  It was a blast and the host went ALL OUT. It was precious and even included a little etiquette lesson, craft time and tea time as well.  Precious.

Loved the pretty quiet weekend!  Time to gear up for another busy week!

We went to a birthday party yesterday!  Hunter decided he would just hang in this wagon and hold on to the balloons for a while.  Happy Birthday to our friend, Cullen!  We love you bud.

Oh my word.  What a FUN weekend this has been!!!  I participated in the Warrior Dash with some sorority sisters and it was a BALL.  

When I signed up for the race, I didn't know much about it.  I watched some u tube videos and it made me a bit nervous.  However, I knew with our group there would be LOTS of laughs and it would be hilarious.  Let me just tell you...it was such a FUN race.  We wore tutus and one of the girls had shirts made.  We painted our faces and wore knee high socks as well.  A hoot.  I will be doing this one again next year.  So fun.

After the race, we headed back home to shower.   Bo's sister had come up from Houston for the race too and we went and got pedicures and after met the other girls for dinner.  After dinner, we went to the Glass Cactus and saw the band Le Freak.  We danced the night away to some fun disco songs.  

What a GREAT day.  Such a fun time with the girls just gettin dirty!  : )

I know what I am getting for my birthday.....

Today could not have been more gorgeous!  We literally spent all day outside except for a quick afternoon trip to Target to get more outside toys for the backyard!  The kids bounced in the bounce house, we added sand to the water table, and when it warmed up a bit we got the water hose out and played in that.  The kids ate both lunch and dinner outside AND they BOTH crashed by 7 this evening.   It was pretty much a perfect day in my book!

I have lots of pictures from our trip.  These are just a few of my favorites.  I had an issue with the humidity affecting my camera so many of the shots were fuzzy.  At least I know now what to expect next time I go BACK to this amazing place!   : )   Happy Tuesday!

home sweet home

We just got home from an amazing trip to the Cloister in Sea Island, Ga.   It was incredible and I could not be more proud of my husband for winning this trip.  It is so neat to see the "big wigs" in the company talking on and on about what a great guy your husband is and what a fine job he does for the company.  He is so well respected.  I was beaming the whole weekend.  Thank you, Bo.  Love you so and thank you for working so hard each and every day.  We are SO PROUD of YOU.

Bo has taken Abby fishing at our duck pond for the past 2 years. She loves to go and when the weather warmed up she told her daddy she wanted to go back.  Her fishing pole had broken so we went and got a new one and headed down as a family.
It was a gorgeous afternoon to be outside and be together as a family!
