Last weekend my whole family met at the lake in Hot Springs, Arkansas and had the BEST time!  My immediate family grew up going to the lake every summer and spending many hours on the boat skiing, tubing and having a blast together.  It's so fun to go back now with our spouses and kids and enjoy being together.  This last weekend was extra special because just three short weeks ago, we didn't know if this weekend would happen.  However, God is good and we were able to celebrate Katie's good heath and her continued strength and baby Reese's growth!  Abby LOVED swimming in the "pool" and she even tubed.  All the kids had a great time together and so did all the adults!  Love you so much fam!!

new pics, new camera

After a few months of research and trying to decide if I would actually carry a big camera around with me, I decided it was time to get one.  Abby will not sit or smile long enough for me to take a quick picture of her and I am tired of all my pictures looking bad.  Still have a long way to go and still have lots to learn about it, but I am excited about the new camera.  Hopefully Abby will start smiling for me now....and would someone PLEASE give this girl a haircut??  It looks terrible!   Happy summer to everyone!  Hope you are enjoying it so far.

Bo, Abby and I went to go see some amazing friends of ours that now live in Lubbock.  We had the BEST time and laughed harder than we have laughed in a long time.  The kids played well together.  Abby loved running around with the twins and patting baby Ian.  We all loved catching up and hanging out together.  We went to visit the Lohrding cows and also went to the pool.  Abby was a lot braver than I ever thought she would be!  Thank you so much, Lorhdings, for such a fun weekend.  Can't wait until we see you again!!
