not even sure where to begin....

I am so far behind on blogging.  Not that anyone really cares or reads blogs much anymore but this is my scrapbook.  ANYWAY.....I need to post about our 3rd annual delt dinner, parachuting Santa, Christmas in Arkansas and a weekend at the ranch but so many pictures and so little time right now.
Christmas has exploded in my house and I have just finished putting decorations up and about to go through toys and clean out.  So......for now one of my faves.

I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas!!!

funny random weekend pics

We had a busy weekend but it was a blast!

On Friday, Hunter was playing with the manger scene and I heard him saying "Joseph?"
I looked over and saw that Spiderman was now playing the role of Joseph.
Not sure about Jake, Izzy and the cars, but this made me laugh.

Saturday morning we took the kids snow tubing at the Gaylord.
So fun!

After the North Pole Express and dinner we stopped by the
neighborhood Christmas event and the kids took their picture with Santa.

Tis the season for Christmas parties!  We had our Life Group
dinner and then a Favorite Things Party after that on Sunday night.
So blessed to be surrounded by neighborhood friends!!

Looking forward to the last week of parties, gift exchanges and Christmas events!

north pole express 2013 - a 5 year tradition

Five years ago, we signed up to ride the North Pole Express with our friends, the Browns.  Well, five years, two children and some more friends later, we are still loving this tradition every December together.

H trying to catch the "snowflakes".

I was asked at dinner what we were going to do once our kids outgrow this tradition.
I honestly have no clue, but I am sure we will come up with something.  For now, I am loving
our December traditions and as I look back at 2009 N.P.E. pictures can't believe how
fast time goes.

Christmas - Part 1

We escaped the Dallas ice storm and spent the weekend in Houston for part 1 of Christmas 2014.
Bo's mom starts decorating for Christmas in October.  Her whole house is covered in Christmas but this tree is my favorite.  The picture doesn't even do it justice.

Abs and Papa

Breakfast with Santa.  A Bain tradition for the last 10 years.
This is the best Santa I have ever seen.  Sweet man too.

Group cousin hug with the big man.

This picture is my favorite from the whole weekend.
Priceless.

Three generations.

After the breakfast, we came home and made the kids WAIT until the
BAYLOR game was at halftime to open a few presents.
We had a room full of Baylor alum watching the game together.  It was a great game!!

We made it back to Dallas on Sunday with no problems at all.  We had prepared ourselves for
a long drive but it only took us about 20 min longer than normal.  Thankful for a safe trip!

Schools are cancelled today.  We all slept in and the kids are happy playing with new toys.
Thankful for this slow day at home after a busy weekend!
