"cowboy camp" day 1 and 2

And....we made it!  After a full day of driving, we arrived at DVR on Saturday evening.  The kids were truly amazing in the car.  I couldn't have asked for better.
Thank you movie players!  : )

Sunday morning was an early one with the time change.  However, we seemed to still be all smiles.

DVR is a Christian dude ranch.  We headed to the church service on Sunday morning.

After an amazing lunch of homemade fried chicken, we headed to St. Elmo to feed the chipmunks.
Hunter loved it.

Abby said they were "creepy".  I thought so too!

You literally put food in your hand, on your legs or anywhere and they will come get it.

When we got back from St. Elmo there was a deer on the deck of the cabin.  They are all over and not really scared of people.  They ate food right out of Katie and Jason's hand!
That was pretty much our day on Sunday.  Busy first day!

Monday morning....

Monday morning was the wrangler breakfast.  You can ride a horse, hike or take a hay ride to the breakfast.  We usually ride the hay ride there and hike back.
The wranglers cook breakfast for you out there and you eat and listen to a devotion.  I can not tell you how gorgeous the scenery is.  This is a favorite for me!

Sweet boy was worn out!!

Me, my sis and brother.  Amazing role models for me!

And then there was Monday night....

Oh my dad...he is a NUT to say the least.  Ready for square dancing!

Sassy pants was a little excited too.

Hunter was LONG asleep.

What I looked at all week long.

 Faber and Mary

Ready to dance!

Bless this woman's heart.  I swear she has been there since 1989 when we started going to the ranch.  She and her husband teach square dancing every Monday night and we are always laughing so hard she gives our "square" the stink eye often!  : )

The wranglers dancing.  (This one is for you, Mom!)

Me and my man.

I have way too many pictures and way too many events to post them all at one time.  Will do the next few days later!  What an amazing week!!!!
