2 months

Hunter had his 2 month appt. this morning. I can't believe he is already 2 months old! Time is flying!! He weighed in at 10 pounds 11 oz. and is 23 inches long. I looked back and Abby was 10 pounds 1 oz at her 2 month appt. Fun to compare!!

Hunter is just precious. He seems very laid back and is smiling a lot these days. Praise the Lord for a good baby!!! Bo and I could not be more thrilled. Abby is doing much better. She still adores him and is a HUGE help. Love that little mama. Had to include a video of her reciting something she is working on at school. A-dorable!!!!

bath time

Typically, Hunter loves his bath! Abby and I decided to give him one this afternoon and he hated it. I had the camera ready to get cute pictures of him smiling in the tub (like he does every other night) and of course, he cried the whole time! He is just keeping us on our toes!

Love that baby smell after a bath! Nothing like it.

hunter's room

People have been asking me about picture of Hunter's room. Well, here ya go! It's simple and I love it. We do have a blue rocking chair that will be in there at some point, but right now it's in our room since that is where he has been sleeping. We moved Abby in to her room at 2 months and I guess we will do the same for H, but since his room is upstairs and next to Abby's room it's nice having him close for those fun night feedings.

Had to include the last picture because it's CREEPY. I plugged in the video monitor when a friend was over at our house and needed a crib for her son to take a nap. I had plugged in this part of the monitor, but not the camera part. I turned it on and can see ANOTHER KID'S CRIB (and here the other kid is sleeping) on OUR monitor. CREEPY. No idea who this kid is, but I just pray that when we do plug in our camera, no one can see my boy sleeping. Did I mention this is creeping me out???? And, p.s., I know "blog world" is crazy, so if this is your kid, I am sorry we have been watching him/her sleep. I have not wanted this experience, I promise!

elmo live

Abby and I had a date today. Bo stayed home with Hunter and we headed to the Elmo Live show. It was a ton of fun and Abby needed the extra attention today. She is just about to outgrow Sesame Street but she still loved the show and I loved time with just my girl!

brotherly/sisterly love

Abby LOVES Hunter. She asks about him all the time and I love it. She is so sweet with him and has been a huge help! She entertains him when I need a minute to fix a bottle or run to get something. She helps me with his stroller and just really has been precious with him.

No. Things are not perfect. In fact, she told me the other night that she doesn't like me anymore, but I would rather her take this out on me than on Hunter.

Thank you, Lord, for this new addition to the family. I had LOW expectations for Abby (no offense but I have learned to set the bar low and then appreciate when they are great!) and she has just risen above and done outstanding! I can't wait to watch them grow up together and love each other even more!
